Our Purpose, History, and Goal for our Students

 

Tofino Surf Adventures offers the best opportunities possible for new, returning, and experienced surfers.

 

With the lowest cost, longest lessons, and instructors with the most experience out of any surf school in town, you will have more chances, more waves, more attention, more laughs and more fun!

By then end of our lessons, we make sure every student knows exactly what to do in order to surf properly and safely on any of our beaches in Tofino. You may not be Kelly Slater right away, but you'll have the confidence and tools to succeed and improve on your own.

Started by Locals, Owned by locals: We have been in operation since 2013, started by surf instructors who saw the standard set out for surf schools and lessons, then decided to improve them! We love our town and wouldn't live anywhere else in the world. We have been boots on the ground every step of the way. With a staff and team that has more experience and time in the water than any other, we commit to the stoke!

Surfing is for everyone!

 

Anybody with any body can surf! We run adaptive lessons for people of all skill and ability levels. Ask us about availability for those who may need a more tailored experience.

Including but not limited to those who have: visual impairment, audio impairment, physical limitations, intellectual disabilities, and more!

 

We are the original sponsor for Surf's Up: Surf for Autism event. An event which runs every year for families on Vancouver Island who have children with autism. A free event to get the kids, siblings, and parents out in the water and having fun!

 

We also help run Surf Club for the local elementary school during the spring and fall. If you're a local be sure to sign up with the district!
